Brainard-Nielsen Marketing (BNMSALES.com), an established and respected manufacturers’ rep firm selling electronic components to manufacturers in Illinois and Wisconsin, is growing and has a new sales opportunity for an Inside Sales Engineer in Wisconsin.  This responsibility will center on growing sales to a new and existing account base while using all available methods and resources to identify, record, report, and close new sales opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Virtual Sales calls on new and existing OEM accounts throughout Wisconsin.
  • Increase sales annually for all Principals (Manufacturers BNM represents).
  • Develop and impact relationships with Mechanical, Electrical, Power, and Compliance Engineers, and Sourcing, Purchasing, and Commodity Managers.
  • Drive NBO Funnel (New Business Opportunities) for all BNM Principals.  Understand the customer’s design challenges and determine the BNM technology solutions that fit their need.
  • Effectively communicate and report activity to BNM and Principals on time, using designated methods.
  • Define, develop, and drive tier 2 and tier 3 accounts within territory.
  • Support all sales channels within your market.
  • Use Social Media, LinkedIn, and other means of prospecting to grow customer base.
  • Foster the mutual success of our company with a Positive, Assertive, Proactive Attitude (PAPA).
  • Continuous improvement personally and professionally.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical field
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience
  • Ability for overnight travel as necessary
  • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced business environment
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and be a team player
  • Strong Social Media, LinkedIn, and Prospecting Skills
  • Experience with CRMs and Microsoft programs
  • Outstanding oral, written, and organizational skills
